Boating Classes

We offer America's Boating Course to the members of our community for learning the basics of safe boating. The classes are useful to all boaters, from the fisherman in an outboard to the skipper in a family cruiser to the sailing enthusiast. Instruction is at no charge, there is a nominal $35 fee for course materials For time and location of our next class contact:

Advanced Classes for Power Squadron Members

When you complete the Boating Class, consider joining the Point Wilson Sail and Power Squadron to continue your boating education by taking the advanced classes available. Subjects include boat handling, Inland & Coastal Navigation, Offshore Navigation, Electromechanical Systems, and the Marine Environment. For a list of classes see: advanced classes.

Vessel Safety Checks

Several Point Wilson Sail and Power Squadron members are qualified
Vessel Safety Examiners. You may call on any one of these people for a
